Get to know the filmmaker:

1. What motivated you to make this film?

It was a very gloomy day and it had been raining for hours when I decided to go out to shoot something. I didn’t set out to make a movie but somehow was guided to film what I filmed and the story presented itself as I went along until it’s completion.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film?

I would say about 2 days from shooting to final edit and sound.

3. How would you describe your film in two words!?

Finding meaning.

4. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film?

The heavy rain getting me and my equipment wet.

5. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video?

Extremely touched to watch strangers talk about my film and how it resonated with them.

6. When did you realize that you wanted to make films?

Since I was a kid. That passion has never left me.

7. What film have you seen the most in your life?

The Shining.

8. What other elements of the festival experience can we and other festivals implement to satisfy you and help you further your filmmaking career?

By just keep doing what you’re doing. Anything to get more people see the films. So far, your festival is fantastic and people seem very personable and caring. True lovers of cinema.

9. You submitted to the festival via FilmFreeway. How has your experiences been working on the festival platform site?

No complaints at all. Very efficient way of submitting and easy to follow submission updates.

10. What is your favorite meal?

The last one I ate. Always grateful to have had it.

11. What is next for you? A new film?

I’m working on a new short film. It’s in French and beautifully written by Cassandre Anaya who is also starring in it alongside Sabrina Campilii. Two amazing actresses. We are shooting shortly and can’t wait to see the end result. It’s a great team and I’m super excited. More info can be found here:
