Get to know the filmmaker:

1. What motivated you to make this film?
As a still photographer, I was fascinated by all these people working on a set. I learnt a lot by watching crews working.
I’ve always been interested in relationships between men and women. That’s a complex topic I like to talk about in my movies.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film?
It took us about 6 months from the idea and script writting to the shooting.

3. How would you describe your film in two words!?
Opposite worlds

4. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film?
The hardest part was finding funds to produce the film

5. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video?
I thought “Are they really talking about my movie ?” More seriously, it gave me the strength and will to write the 3rd part (this is a trilogy)

6. When did you realize that you wanted to make films?
By watching HBO and TV series like The Sopranos, The Wire, The shield, Game of Thrones…I thought the dialogues are amazing. I and love the way characters interact with one another.

7. What film have you seen the most in your life?
Not a movie, a series : The Sopranos

8. What other elements of the festival experience can we and other festivals implement to satisfy you and help you further your filmmaking career?
Just talking about the movie and showing it to as many people as possible ! We’re working on the 3rd part and will be happy to send it to you when it’s ready.

9. You submitted to the festival via FilmFreeway. How has your experiences been working on the festival platform site?
Great ! We had so many selections and awards from all over the world !

10. What is your favorite meal?
I love Poke Bowls an Hawaiian dish, healthy and tasty !

11. What is next for you? A new film?
After Flawless in 2019, we shooted the sequel 2 Flawless in July 2023. We’re presently working the 3rd and final part.
