Get to know the writer:

1. What is your screenplay about?

Can a LGBTQ+ ice hockey club compete with the big, tough FDNY (Fire Department New York) team? And in the end, can the thick walls of prejudice be penetrated to reveal that they are more alike than different? Subplot involves characters’ 9/11 survival grief and guilt. All the 9/11 events in the screenplay are based on actual events. And many queer ice hockey leagues do exist..

11. You entered your screenplay via FilmFreeway. What has been your experiences working with the submission platform site?

My screenplay has been Selected to Award Winning in seventy-nine festivals/competitions. But again, I have not been able to get a manager/agent.

12. What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

See #11. I was very pleased with the feedback.
